Starke introduces Vattic to Kastein

Diligence: Stake's Extra Challenge is an extension of the second mission in Second Sight. It takes place in the Kastein USMC Base.

Synopsis

Dr John Vattic is offered an additional training mission to supplement the pistol, sniper, and stealth training in the same chapter.

Upon arrival, he learns that he is required to undergo military training prior to the briefing for a squad mission.

Objectives

Armed with only a Pistol, Sniper Rifle and Tranquilizer, Vattic must make his way past several soldiers and into a warehouse, to steal a set of enemy documents. Vattic can report to Dr Patrick Ballard MD for medical attention during this mission.

Colonel Joshua Starke: "Well done, Vattic. The team's informed me that you've made great progress so far, but are you up to this last test? I've got a company of soldiers securing the old abandoned factory just through these gates. Your mission is to get the plans from inside the factory and then get out. Take this earpiece and I'll give you orders to help you through it."

Starke (if Vattic was detected during the mission): "Well, you made it through. Wasn't exactly a subtle insertion, but you did the job. I hope you're not as trigger happy out on the field, but it's good to know you can take care of yourself, and it shows dedication to put in extra time on the training field. Good work, Vattic."

Starke (if Vattic was not detected during the mission): "I'm impressed, Vattic. Not too many finish this challenge without making a mess. You can clearly move around without others noticing. It'll be a valuable asset to you in the field. I'm pleased that you put in the effort with some extra training. Good work, Vattic."
